Celebrating Your Story

Welcome to the first annual exhibition of Hot Water Cool Art.

At Hot Water Cool Art, our mission is to celebrate the artist, not just their art.
We tell unfiltered stories, ask difficult questions, and embrace cultural differences. We believe,
“Nobody talks about art better than the artists themselves.”

Theme:

For this year’s exhibition, the theme is “The Journey.”

We love the journey as much as we love the final destination; we love the personal story behind the maker as much as we love the story within the art. This time, we are passing the mic to you, to your artworks, to let your art speak itself.

We invite you to explore the personal connection between your artworks and your journey.

No two artists are alike because no two life stories are the same. The colors we choose, the textures we build, the emotions we convey—these all come from our personal depository called memory. Our unique narratives shape our past, and in turn, our past shapes the art of tomorrow. The experiences we have in a lifetime—the country we were born in, the places we’ve been, every stranger we’ve encountered, even something as simple as the warmth of the 5 pm sun—all leave an imprint on our work.

Just as Samuel Johnson said, "To a poet, nothing can be useless." We believe the same is true for artists.
